I took two of my grandchildren for a visit and they had a fantastic time, the price included face painting, balloon modelling,bouncey castle and other things for the children to do.
I was so impressed I brought tickets for me son, his partner and two other grandchildren to go the following day. They also had a fantastic time.

We went on 2nd Spetember 2012 I wish we had not bothered, the trains were not the real ones, just ones they had a the museum and stuck faces on, the train ride consisted of a ride up and down one track, and the carridges were not even annie and Clarabel but some tatty old things!
We arrived just over an hour after it opening only to be told the goody bags had sold out hard to believe because the place was not at all busy!
Mr Topham Hatt was supposed to sign certificates after the train ride but when we got on our ride, he went for lunch so little one didn't even get to see him!! I am shocked at how much they have charged parents when no effort was made you could not spend a day here if you tried barely 2 hours we spent and paid £40 for it!!

We came away extremely disappointed. The Thomas train ride goes forward and backwards a couple of times along a very short length of track. No commentary, nothing to look at, no sense of being on Thomas the tank engine. Apart from the train ride, the "Imagination Station" consists of a playroom (think an over-crowded mums and tots group in a very small room) and story telling area. There's also a small bouncy castle. Oh and a stand selling flags for £1. The whole event felt half-baked. We were amazed at how little there was for the price.

Thomas the Tank Train was great my little boy really enjoyed it, The staff who was on the bouncy castle were brilliant as my son has special needs and adults wernt aloud on but he took my child on so he wasnt left out, the fat controller was a bit misserable though wouldnt even atempt to talk to him agiain but the rest of the event was great.
