Surprisingly Good Venue, band great as usual

We went to see Metronomy on a Wednesday night at Trinity Arts Centre in Bristol. I have been to the venue before a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised with how suitable it was. I thought some of the levels were off, particularly the vocals, when the band first started but this was soon cleared up.

Their performance was again very good. We saw them in the Dance Village at Glastonbury festival last time so difficult to compare atmosphere there with a 500 person gig. Overall a very enjoyable night.

Worth mentioning that Clock Opera, one of the support acts, were also very good.

Amazing gig, was so happy to see Metronomy on a stage! All band members were unforgettable and had they persona's which was really amazing! All songs I wanted to hear live was played too!

WOW. Fantastic performance from Metronomy with their new line up. There were Dancers throwing little heart toys around, a tribute to Patrick Swayze, flashing lights on peoples chests, and ofcourse the funkadellic electric sound that is Metronomy. what more could you want? Also Some great warm up bands to get the crowd in the mood.
Had tones of fun Jumping up and down and shouting all night.

on going to metronomy i expected some pushing and over excitable people but i was quite suprised with how rough it did get during their performance. really did'nt understand the relevance of the two dancers who were a bit embarrassing and didnt go well with the music! I also have to admit that the supporting acts were absolutely awful! Otherwise, it was a really good event and all the performers did a really good job. The lighting was really euphoric and i especially liked their enthuasiasm and encore! good night out all in all!

Really good gig, Metronomy were brilliant and managed to whole album's worth. Fantastic dancing girls.
Crowd was very young and aggressive in parts but good fun.

metronomy was awesome... would have got 5 stars if it wasn't for the support acts right before them who really killed it for me. your twenties would have been a better choice for the band to play right before them.

Amazing gig, the supports weren't really to my taste but I really enjoyed Metronomy, a good mix of old and new, and the dancers were a nice touch. I broke my watch, but it didn't matter because I had a wicked time!

Favourite moment: Teenagers trying to crowd surf but the crowd was too weak to hold them. Good TRY THOUGH. @

Setlist: Pretty much all songs from their latest album, "Nights Out" and some from their first album. About an hour long. @

Opening act(s): Great diversity, and all fun. Your Twenties was catchy pop. Male Bonding fast punk. Drums of Death (DJ from The Klaxons) is like gimmick dance-rock/techno/emo hard to describe (paint their faces skeleton white for effect). @

HMV Forum is a 14+ venue, so there's a lot of little kids around. BUT, this was good for the crowd factor, because they really got into it and made it a great show. Metronomy kicked ass, high danceable factor. They were playing to the crowd too, and did 3 encores which got everyone dancing. You can stand behind the main floor and see well if you arent into jumping around. Bar was a little hard to get a drink, but the staff was quick and faster than in America. I WOULD RECOMMEND.
