I bought four tickets for my friends as birthday gifts, only to be disappointed that this was not the DJ shapeshifters. I was pretty annoyed and upset that I'd just wasted a large amount of money on a pretty poor band.

I heard p money was supposed to open, but he seemed to be a no show. However it didn't dampen my appetite, quite the opposite. What we got was outstanding performance of both classic and new Shapeshifter tunes. With a new album on the horizon the new tracks sounded to have a harder edge with a heavier dosage of raw drum n bass. Looking forward to the release date.

I've never been a huge fan of drum and base, but this gig was fabulous. Loads of energy, great tunes and just an overall really great show. Bring on the kiwiana!!

Despite the gig being a case of spot the Pom (a massive oversupply of Kiwis in London - me included), Shapeshifter translated well to an indoor North London venue since they are often served chilled at a stunning NZ venue.

The show had a great tempo mixing up old and new tunes and always kept the crowd entertained.

They did not disappoint and hopefully their non-NZ fan base will grow.
