The Born This Way Ball in Manchester was the second time I saw Gaga, and I certainly don't intend for it to be the last; she was even more incredible than last time! The part that made it even more amazing wasn't just the performance, it was the Monster Pit too. I waited in line from 5.30am on the day of the concert to get in, and it was worth every second! I got so close to her it was unbelievable! There was so much space as it is an exclusive area that you have to earn a place in, it's not like a general standing area where everyone is squashed together and you can't see a damn thing because there's a human giraffe in front of you.
Onto the actual performance, it was absolutely flawless! Her vocals and choreography were perfect throughout, she didn't miss a beat. Even during the intimate, acoustic songs, she kept everyone in the arena mesmerised, but it was even more personal and incredible being so close. I cried during Hair!
The castle was phenomenal, and the story line that you followed throughout the concert was fantastic. I felt so involved during the whole concert! Because it's Lady Gaga, of course there were going to be outfit changes... each and every one of them was beautiful, there wasn't one aspect of this art spectacular that was flawed!
She was amazing with her Monsters, she selected some to go backstage, brought some onstage during the last song and she was totally bombarded with gifts after Bad Kids! It was so intimate, I swear she looked me in the eyes at one point.
The bottom line is if you ever have the chance to see Gaga, GRAB IT BY THE THROAT. You'll definitely not regret it, and if the Monster Pit is available, it's totally worth queuing all day for. I met the most amazing people and you get so close, it changes the whole experience completely!
