Was waiting for a Ojos De Brujo gig unitil I have found their first album somewhere on my spanish way in Malaga I guess. I've fall in love. In Spain, Flamenco. Ojos De Brujo.
Tried catch them up on their local background but suddenly /God bless Facebook/ I've recon that the day after Ojos De Brujo plays in London. So bought a ticket /God bless internet!!!/ :) and next day went do London very excited.....
Im not sure The Barbican Hall is the best place for that kind of concerts. To many chairs in my opinion. People needs to dance after couple of first sounds. Rumba needs space and there's no space on there.
The concert was amazing. All the song I know, always on my mp3 player, live!!!
Marina is like a butterfly, Sensual, magic, beautyful weared in white and gold with her colorful scarfs......... How she dancing, feel the rhythm, Shes absolutely Queen of contemporary flamenco.

That was fabulous!!! Marina took half of the audience on the stage and all was dancing rumba with the band!! A>M>A>Z>I>N>G>!!!!
but... unfortunately, LOndon audience is too "cold" for mediterenian sound.... somebody needs to take them and push on on the danceflor...... :):):)
Anyway I have to see Ojos De Brujo in Barcelona. 5th of may........... someone?

The venue was fantastic and the band unforgettable. The rhythm carried you away, the beat possessing you. The addition of the horns has stepped things up a notch, taking this fusion music to new heights. I look forward to their return to these shores!
