From start to finish the concert was breathtaking. Sharon's vocals were crystal clear - she hit every single note. The band flooded the stage with their energy, you could tell they were all having so much fun. 'Sinead' was my favourite song - had the entire audience jumping - followed by 'Iron' and a really good mosh :D They played all of the best tracks from The Unforgiving plus favourites from previous albums; What Have You Done Now, Angels, Deceiver Of Fools and Mother Earth. The sound quality was amazing within the venue and visually, the performance was tip top as well from the film clips playing in the background to Sharon's glam outfit swaps. Apart from someone vomiting on my friends shoes and then someone fainting on me - the concert was remarkable! I will definately see Within Temptation next time they return to the UK!

Had to queue outside the venue for the first time in years, shows the popularity of the band.
The venue had bouncers controlling the bar queue, another first, but worked well.
Venue was an old ballroom and was a little faded but sound quality was good view was fine overall OK. Support act I hadn't heard before but was very good, I have purchased material by the support since the gig. The Scottish crowd were as usual very animated both for the support and the main act.One reason for travelling to this gig as opposed to other tour dates.Within temptation were excellent if a little short,only 75 minutes before the encores, but I suppose the energy expended maybe limits this. Good mix of new and old 8 tracks from current album,with 8 from the previous 3. Light show just like the old days with a full screen behind the stage showing promos from the album and old videos. All told an excellent night, would certainly see band again and also go to venue as well.

My children are the hard core fans and I was only there as a taxi but. I am now a true fan.
The hole band are just fantastic. We met them after the show and they really made me feel comfortable talking with them. Can't say that about the British groups I have met.
Off to see them again in London and to be hoist. I can't wait

my music likes are led zeppelin, lynyrd skynyrd,deep purple,and so on, but i have been listening to within temptation, nightwish. over the last couple of years bought all their cds
so went to barrowlands with my 23 year old daughter to watch within temptation. i had a
amazing night enjoyed the show it was A1
i felt like a 20 year old again, the band looked like they were enjoying themselves as much as the fans.
this is the first time i have been to barrowlands maybe a touch small but the sound was clear will go and see a band ther again
its a pity they never did somewhere or pale

Within Temptation were truly amazing and Sharon has such a beautiful voice, they played a mixture of their new songs and old and was such a great atmosphere! Would definately go see them again!

Supporting were Anneke van Giersbergen and her band, who were brilliant. But then Within Temptation came on and completely blew us away!

I had seen WT at Download, in daylight, and they were fantastic - but an enclosed venue with the full effect of their light and video show was about as good as it gets. They are heavy, they are melodic, they look great - and I don't think there is currently a band to beat them - not even Muse!

The atmosphere was much as I have experienced at other gigs where I have stood to watch, but the band went out of their way to connect with the crowd making us feel like we were a part of the event. Was quite grateful for the lack of a mosh pit which I find can ruin the enjoyment for those around. Excellent support act which set the stage for the act to follow. I would be more than happy to go to see them again and would recommend them to anyone who is a fan.

What an excellent night! This was the first time I'd been to the Barrowlands in almost 20 years and it hasn't changed a bit.

Within Temptation are just amazing. The music is superb, Sharon's voice is outstanding, and they create a really great atmosphere. They always look like they are really enjoying themselves whilst belting out terrific songs.

Symphonic metal at its best. WT deliver again with the huge trademark wall of sound that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. A mix of old and new styles with many tracks form the latest album with a few of the classics thrown in for good measure. Lets hope its not another 4 years until they return to Scotland for their next tour.

say evanesence 2 days prior at the o2 academy glasgow and within temptation blew them away . :)

after liking the band for a few year, this was the first time l have seen them live, it was a long journey for me 3hrs but omg was it worth it , with it being a small venue the atmosphere was awesome and the crowd very friendly, which all added to the evening, the band was amazing, l am all ready looking out for there return.

Wow, wow, wow. Quite simply within temptaion was out of this world. The music was on the ball and they all seem like such nice people who took extra time at the end of the concert to thank everyone. Would go to watch them again and again. Could listen to her voice all day.

This Gig was AMAZING!!.The only one in Scotland& I travelled from England to see them.They did not disappoint!!.Amazing band&every song old&new was fantastic.The venue (Barrowland) was old school brilliant and the crowd rocked non stop.Fabulous night and Sharon shone from within a band of real quality.Within Temptation ROCK!!

I've been going to gigs at the Barras for twenty years and Within Temptation put on one of the best shows I've ever seen there. The light show was spectacular, the songs were brilliant and the band were superb. Absolutely fantastic show and I will definitely go and see them again.
