ladies and gentlemen on stage tonight , the worst show ever in the history of worse shows , please can i have my money back , i had to pinch myself to make sure i wasnt in a nightmare , give this one a miss if you can , spend your money on the abba show instead .

This show reminded me off the worst off the muppets . I actually thought I was at the wrong show , I was scared to my wits when the dean Martin walked out , poor Dean Martin if only he knew how he was being portrayed , I'm sure he'd kill himself . Show it's self started well , no lights , when the The big Phat band appeared well we all rolled around in laughter . The Frank was good and had a decent set of acting skills which only showed up the lack of any musical attributes of the Dean and Sammy . There was no narrative or journey to hold this show together for me just a bunch of songs with no passion or spirit of the original , this show would be better if a rehearsal was sought and copy the originals , they mite even get a laugh .

The show had little atmosphere, the stage was too small and the vocals of 2 of the 3 not very good. I would not recommend although friends who also saw it in Londin thought it was so much better there. Everyone disappointed.

My husband and I saw the Rat Pack show in Las Vegas earlier this year & got the bug, so we decided to go to this show and we really werent dissapointed, very talented guys and lovely voices as well as extremely entertaining.

Was uninspired by the whole event. The choreography was laughable as were the dancers performing it - out of time, couldn't dance together etc. Dean Martin and Sammy were not as good as Frank Sinatra. The stage was not at all a "Vegas Spectacular". In fact it was very dull and boring to the point of being very amateurish. There were times when the band drowned out the actual singing so you couldn't hear what was being sung. Not what I expected at such a big theatre as the Empire, Liverpool. The second half was a little better than the first, but I still felt that it was a very weak performance all round. Would rather have done something else with the money I used for the tickets.

Did the empire run a sound check? I had my fingers in my ears for most of the time due to the excessive sound level. You could hardly hear the singing! When I could hear them sing, the artists didn't sound like Frank, Dean & Sammy and the Vegas Dancers, well they weren't as professional as I would expect. It was a very disappointing evening and had to leave at the start of the 2nd half.

Enjoyable evening, however it was three guys singing good songs and well done too - it needed a bit more authenticity for me of the characters.

I went to see the same show last year and it was amazing! thought this was going to be the same oh boy was I wrong, very very poor, I have heard people on karaoke sing better. From the stage setting to the singing it was extremely poor, and amateurish. Most people we spoke to thought the show was very very poor. A complete waste of £50.

Well sung Vegas spectacular With the most popular songs from the era.
Well worth watching good dancers also accompanied the acts trying to provide
The atmosphere of a Vegas show bar. Very well done would certainly recommend to others.

I purchased these tickets as a birthday surprise for my Sister-in-law as we are all huge fans of the original. We were all really excited about the evening and arrived early so that we wouldn't miss anything.
All I can say is that I have never been so embarassed and we actually left the theatre at the interval and went home.
I have been to the theatre many, many times and have never left a performance early before. I cannot believe that this level of performance is acceptable at the Empire Theatre.
We were all bitterly disappointed and I intend to write to the Manager and officially complain. We actually asked the member of staff how we claimed our money back, because we were so shocked at the terrible performance at the Empire Theatre.

My Mother and I went and we had a great time. All the brilliant songs were included and the three mains were really good, Sammy had a great voice and didn't need a mike! The only thing that I would say could have been better was the set, it wasn't very Vegas-like, not enough lights and spangles!
The dancing girls certainly earned their money and the band were amazing!
This is the third time we have see the show and we will definitely go again.

Although me & my husband really enjoyed the show, we found that the sound was too loud at times - we couldn't hear the words that were being sung especially when "Sammy Davis Jnr" was singing his Louder numbers. But not being a technician that could very well be down to the acoustics of the Theatre.
The only other let down for me was it's Billed as a "Vegas Spectacular" and to be honest there wasn't much "Spectacular" about the set the only Thing Vegas was a Sign for "The Sands" - I'm not sure what I expected but it didn't say Vegas to me - I was expecting a bit more Glitz and Glamour. I was hoping to go home thinking I'd been to vegas for the evening
But all of that aside the Cast were Fab!!

The singing, band and dancers were really good but I found the stage and backdrop very dull for a supposed Vegas Spectacular, just looked like wooden boxes covered in black drapes. A vegas spectacular would suggest bright lights and a lot more bling going on.

Very very disappointed. Left during interval. Would have gone earlier but didn't want to disturb others sitting on same row. Accept that performers could never hope to be as good as original Rat Pack, but this was a complete and utter disaster. Tasteless jokes, no connection with audience, poor choreography, performers light years away from originals in terms of projection, appearance, singing, onstage interaction, ability to captivate an audience. All in all, a waste of time and money. Felt conned by the advance publicity.

From the first song to the last this show reminded me of being a young boy on a dentists chair , only more painfull , i think it would be better calling this show the fat pack , all looking a little under excercised , dean the donut was truly awful , needs to learn how to sing act and not to steal other shows jokes , i heaad the ill joke back in 1945 , the only saving grace was the frank who would be better off in a better show .

I have seen several incarnations of the "Rat Pack" shows and i have to say that the Rat Pack Vegas Spectacular at the Sunderland Empire in July was extremely disappointing. In particular, the show suffered from the performer impersonating Dean Martin - his drunken portrayal of Mr. Martin was over the top. This was exacerbated by a very poor singing voice that lacked any of the power, warmth or charisma that characterised Dean Martin. Overall ...he was just irritating. Give it a miss...
