From first song to last perfect,I have no idea why he is not more popular in the uk as his vou Voice amazing.Lead guitar Ryan Thomas?? The best I have ever heard.

First time seeing AD live was an experience to remember. He delivered a great live set and vibed well with the audience. Lot of good material from Acey Deucy and quite a few memorable moments, including the excellent Body Language, Cheatin Man and Spitting Game. His vocal is one of the smoothest in town... Definitely look forward to the next UK visit.

U leave the event feeling uplifted on high spirits. Will defiantly b rtn n... Well wot can I say Anthony Davis amazing!!! So talented. So down 2 earth interacting with the audience with his humour. My first time at the Jazz Cafe. The night was running behind......but Anthony David did a good set. He sounded great ! It was a nice atmosphere and caught so much jokes. Also made some friends .....bonus

Anthony David did not disappoint and lived up to my expectations of the soul/folk singer I imagined he was. He sang from his heart and soul. Personalised his perfomance by managing to connect wth each and everyone in the audience without overly relying on the old cliche of flirting with the ladies. His voice reminded me of quality whisky. Rich and mellowed over time -or think of Bill Withers. At times I unconciously closed my eyes to savour the of sublime concoction of the music and his delivery. He does not imitate any artist out there and definitely stands out from the crowd. He did not dress up his performance with unnecessary, showbiz, razzamatazz.. I think he was a more reserved character than Avery Sunshine who was the preceding, supporting artist. Avery, gave a rable rousing, holla' down the foundations of the Church on Sunday performance. While with Anthony you needed to listen to the words in the story his songs told and allow your self to be transcended to wherever music took you. In essence they are two different artists to be appreciated for their different styles. Perhaps a very small percentage of the audience couldn't. What Anthony gave was unique, genuine and uncommercialised. I am EAGERLY AWAITING his new CD album in Feb. '11 and return to the Jazz Cafe.

Anthony David was genius, everthing about his performance was top class.......I am still realing from the event....... truely amazing

Avery Sunshine .......wow!! she opened the show and definitely set scene. Words are not enough to explain just how I felt....close to it would be that I was literally BURSTING WITH JOY:) ...she doesn't just sing or perform soul music....she is soul music in it's highest form.

What an experience!!....

I went with my partner to this event, and we are avid listeners of Anthony David's music, We have both his previous albums. He performed tracks of these albums as well as cuts from the new album, and a few of his favourite tracks. All we can say is that we loved watching him perform, his honest style of performance is transparent, no gimmicks or trying to be eccentric or different. He was just him, and it pores out in his music and performances. We cannot wait for his latest album to drop in Feb 2011. We would most definitely purchase a copy and go to see him perform again.

If you are a fan or Anthony David or someone who knows his music and you weren't there, you are seriously lacking in your dose of soulful, true music.

I initially booked to see the "supporting act - Avery Sunshine" - who is and will be up and amongst the Jill Scott and Angie Stone's class! It was just a shame that she didn't sing for longer.

I am ashamed to admit, I hadn't heard of Anthony David until the concert! After his performance, I can endorse most definitely that he was not Grammy-nominated for no reason - pure raw genious talent. Held my attention, mind and gaze for the whole set.
