great day out , for a neutral supporter , easy access for drinks toilets , etc good band and entertainment outside in the fans zone , kept us all going . plus short walk to the murreyfield hotel , to catch all the other games , on big screens .

pity england lost .

It was our first visit to Murrayfield as a family. Our son plays rugby for his school and is very keen. We, his parents, were not quite so enthusiastic until last Saturday!!! From beginning to end, we were enthralled. What an atmosphere. The icing on the cake was, of course, Scotland's victory over the Italians. It fair made our wee tartan hearts beat with pride. My wife has fallen in love with Chris Paterson!

Went to Murrayfield to watch Scotland v Italy in the 6 nations championship finale for Scotland. After a poor run of results through the champs I was hoping that the good playing I had seen would pay off in a win, and boy did it!! 21-8 it finished with 2 glorious tries going in right in front of our seats, brilliant. First time at a Scotland Rugby international and I loved it!

We had an amazing day at Murrayfield when Scotland took on the world champions South Africa, in the autum test.
South Africa came at us with a couple of penalties, we thought " here we go, another All Black hammering" then the Scots rose up to show what they are realy made of, the stadium was only half full, but the noise became deffening as the final whistle grew closer.
Finaly the whistle came and a historic victory was our's, a very proud Scotland team walked around the stadium applauding the crowed.
Can't wait till the next game.

I've taken our kids to two rugby internationals in the last year to introduce them to Murrayfield.

The first one was v Australia and I told them that results like that don't happen everytime and then I took them to this match!!!

The atmosphere is great and the Autumn tests are a great opportunity for families especially to get along to see a great match!

This was my first trip to a rugby match and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. So different to a football match where both teams supporters sit side by side and there is no trouble, very friendly. Atmosphere was brilliant, Scotland won which was excellent. I will definitely go again.

During these economic times on expects a certain level of value for money, which I am sorry (after my first visit to the city) is not what you will get here. Cardiff on the other hand is the city for any rugby lover, people who understand the game and know how to entertain their guests.

Despite a result which wasn't what we were looking for as an experience the SRU and Murrayfield know how to put on a show, from fireworks to the piper on the roof all well executed.

Would recommend any AB's match! =) However, just maybe not at Murrayfield? Mad props to Scottish fans though for sticking it out with their team, despite clearly being on the losing end of the AB's run! Stadium seating is too cramped for 'average' rugby fans and does not leave much elbow room when kitted out in coats as was required for the 13 Nov AB's vs Scotland match. Would not attend, or recommend a match at Murrayfield for that reason.

This was a fantastic event. The friendliness of the crowd, the mixture of fans, The seats we had and the weather were all unbeatable. However this did not include the Scotland team who were, unfortunately very beatable. However this did not stop us from having a brilliant time.
