we were introuduced to his music by other university students and decided to attend his gig at christmas. althought this gig venue is not the largest it only made the night that much more special, (if i try i can still hear the entire room chanting Damo Damo!!)
we defo felt that everyone who was not in the room that night was missing out!
Been to many gigs and many festivals and i think that this is one of the best gigs i have yet to go to!, I will never forget the amazing irish atmospher he created and will be attending more of his gig in the future , Damo Abú :)

He's every bit as good, if not better, than when he was gigging in bars in Brooklyn 14 years ago. He clearly loves performing and really appreciates his fans. I urge anyone that likes original singer-songwriters or Irish music to see him when he comes to your town.

I've seen Damien Dempsey live over a dozen times and he never disappoints. This concert at Vicar St Dublin was the best Damo gig I've ever been to and one of the best nights of my life. I travelled from England to see him and it was an unforgettable night. Damo was on stage for almost two and a half hours, both him and his band were outstanding, great atmosphere and audience. Make sure you see Damo next time he's in town, he's amazing!
