We enjoyed the fight,although we were a little apprehensive as last time we went to the M.E.N the seats were not good for the money paid, this time the seats were much better.
The drinks at the M E N are extremely expensive and people were commenting on this.
Not too happy when £9.98 was taken out of my account for insurance in the event of the fight being cancelled, we did not want and had not requested to take insurance out, we rang the 0845 special rate number and we were able to cancel it but were not happy that they presumed we wanted insurance. I would ask people to check their credit or debit cards to make sure they have not been charged extra..

Was very disappointed that the screens in 'The View Experience' were not showing the undercard fights or the main event ....made it very difficult to tell when each fight was starting. At previous events in 'the View' we were able to watch all of the fights and build up inside ....will think twice before paying the extra to use The view again!

An excellent night of entertaining boxing!
I am certain that there are not many sportsmen/women that could create an atmosphere like the one we experienced-it was awesome!! I was proud to be there & although it was heartbreaking that Ricky lost in many ways it was evident that there were other battles he had won by entering the ring!! I am sure he would have been thrilled by the support he received as we were thrilled to be part of it!

Fantastic atmosphere, good crowd no trouble even though a lot drunk in the arena.
Ricky Hatton made it an awesome night and fantastic boxing from him, other boxing matches a great bonus, shame he is retiring but going out on a real high l think.

What was the point in the floodlights shining into the crowd, they were circling around and hitting me and everyone around me every 5 second blinding us and just giving me a headache. Absolutly ridiculous, i can understand it if they were just part of a boxers entrance or something but to be none stop for hours on end was pointless and annoying to everyone who didnt take sunglasses. Also the decision to not allw anyone to take drinks back to our seats was pathetic, just ment for overcrowding and missing out on the boxing if you wanted a drink.

Was without a doubt the best night out iv ever had. the crowd made the night unforgettable!
I was expecting it to be loud obviously but the noise inside the MCR Arena was incredible!
Shame the Hitman will be retiring for good now, would loved to have gone to another one of his fights!

Also had my photo taken with the legendary ROBERTO DURAN! Scott Quigg and current world champion Paulie Malignaggi!
If anymore big boxing events come up I would certainly recommend to anyone to book tickets, even if your not the biggest boxing fans... Just go for the atmosphere and night out!

The fight was superb with fantastic atmosphere. Seats were great but the steward was not interested in sorting out the 2 guys next to us who were in the wrong seats and refused to move. Security staff sorted it during round 3 which spoiled it for everyone around. Media people in front of us pushed the barrier so far back we could not get out of our seats at the end.

Well the MEN is always an excellent venue for anything. This time it was for boxing. Everything was great. The only downsides are as always trying to get food/beer thats always a challenge. The only other down side was at the end of the night after the big event the stewards wouldnt let you get closer to the ring. I understand they dont want everyone to swamp the ring but when the late night small fights came on (after the main event and with the arena clearing) you couldnt get closer to watch.
Apart from that you cant ever be disappointed

In spite of media oppinion I belive Ricky could have won this bout had he stuck to everything he had worked on in the gym but instead he went to please the fans. "well done Ricky heart like a lion". Amazing experience.

I wish we could've taken drinks in to the seats so that we could have watched more of the undercard but the atmosphere was amazing and Hatton did himself proud up until he got knocked down.

Only a tune up fight no doubt will lead onto a big fight in the future. Good to see the little fella back in action in the Uk but to be fair he would never have fought at the M.e.n again during his prime.
