Singing was fine but what a weird production! Far too many pointless extras walking on and off the stage, opening and closing doors and distracting attention from the main action.

Loved the music, great orchestra and conductor,nice singing but nothing extraordinary. Hated the contemporary setting, you have to ask yourself 'what is the point'? Three and a half hours is very long on a hot and steamy night but still worth it for the music.
