Only saw Alestorm and Dragonforce, Not an Alestorm fan, over hyped if you ask me. Dragonforce have now got a decent singer, Marc Hudson is simply brilliant. Really professional display. Dragonforce are a now amongst the front runners in their Genre once again. Hopefully they'll play Bloodstock Open Air in August 13!

Covolts were not the best band of the night for me due to their bad stage manner and begging for people to buy their ep's but i'm always critical at the start of gigs. This all washed away with a band I never listened to before which was The defiled, their heavy tones and crunchy riff's along with the singing won me over and now I listen to them on a daily basis.

Alestorm was the real winner for me as I had seen dragonforce once before and so mainly came along for my favourite pirate metal band and they did not disappoint and in fact going into a mosh pit with a great pirate song felt like something out of a nautical fantasy .

Dragonforce were late on as usual which I reckon was just for suspense or whatever but I was looking forward to the new singer playing old albums and even though Alestorm were my favourite the new singer did not disappoint and actually favoured him more then the old one and so dragonforce still destroyed with a fantastic setlist of old songs and new with fields of despair and cry thunder causing such strong moshing emotion between us all.

Didn't manage to see any of the bands for pictures after show accept for the case of Christopher Bowe from Alestorm who is a stand-up guy.

Thanks for reading and this is of course just my opinion.

Was an okay gig. Really enjoyed Alestorm and the 2nd support band (Defiled I think?) - more so than Dragonforce. Probably wouldn't pay the price to see again unless there were similarly epic supports.

The sound at this event was horrendous, guitars not balance properly, no lead vocals, then just backing then nothing all together. Shame, however on the 2 or 3 songs when the sound was acceptable the band played incredibly well. It was just a shame that the mix and sound in the venue was doomed from the offset and actually ruined what could have been the bands finest live performance.

I went to see guns'n roses not so long ago at the O2 arena. Nothing impressive comparing to Dragonforce. This one was awesome. Dragonforce rocks

First time attending a DragonForce show and what a great one it was. The support acts were good and varied within the metal genre. DragonForce's setlist had good chunk of old and new material including the extremely popular "Through the Fire and Flames". Will definitely see them live again!

Fantastic Concert, The only thing wrong with it? shame it didn't last longer

Alestorm were a phenomenal choice as support rocked the house down

Dragon Force were sensational much better then there performance in 09

The appeared more like a unit and more like a band and they did such a phenomenal set giving such a great balance between the Dragon Force classic's & The new Dragon Force tracks

Opening act(s): Not really my thing. Only caught the end of Cavorts, The Defiled were absolutely terrible. Alestorm had a good following but their set and pirate gimmick became a bit boring after the first couple of songs. All sounded the same. But I don't doubt they were very popular. @

Having never seen Dragonforce before, I thought I'd take the opportunity to take a look. I had liked their older stuff but their new album sounded fresh and different so I thought why not? They didn't disappoint me. They played a good selection from The Power Within and also threw in some older stuff. Herman Li was just awesome to watch and Marc Hudson has really settled into the band well. All in all a good set and a good gig.

The Defiled, Alestorm and The Defiled put up one hell of a show. It also introduced me to both Defiled and Alestorm, which is a good thing. It'd be a shame if I would overlook such great bands :) I would definitely see them again!

From start to end this band gave us a display of musical genius! The guitar work was mesmerizing and the new lead singer hit the mark also. There were some sound problems at the start with the vocals and these could have been louder generally throughout. I actually thought the set was 2-3 songs short, it was over in 80 mins! But hey it was still one heck of a night and these guys ROCK. Looking forward to next time.

Dragonforce were brill as always, Marc has fitted in really well. Recommend to everyone to go see them live. Followed them since the beginning and never let you down these guys. Enjoyed Alestorm as well as support. Dragonforce as well as being amazing musicians are really nice guys, was my daughters 18th birthday that day and i asked for a note to be passed to the band to wish her happy birthday and they did ! went to the signing at HMV earlier in the year and they all had a chat and were really nice and friendly. Dragonforce, spread the word peoples, they deserve all the support we can give them.

Very well put together, they made you feel part of the band and really got you involved. It was brilliant too watch. The arranged chaos of dragonforce and high energy is fantastic. They really know how to put on a good show and I cannot wait to see them again!

Brilliant show. best gig i have ever been to. Alestorm one of the supporting bands was a great lineup, entertaining is not the word. the were hugely brilliant but Dragonforce played strong and involved the crowd. would recommend their tour to any fans of metal. venue was good, hot but expected at a sold out gig. just simply awesome.

Went with my son and he thought it was awesome. I enjoyed it despite my older years and was also very impressed with having 4 different groups on with very little time wasted betwen each. I really liked Sabaton who obviously had their own following within the audience
