I've listened to Charlie Wilson since I was very young, through his career with The Gap Band and beyond to his own ventures and collaborations with others. I was expecting good vocals.

When he come on at 02 after Kenni Burke however, WOW! From the very first intro, where the Pipers came on, he had my attention! This didn't change until the show ended!
Charlie brought a show to the UK which we hadn't seen in a long while! I love my concerts and gigs and it has been probably 10-15 yrs since I saw a show where the Artist ensured the crowd saw a "show", not just a Singer! Thank you for this Charlie and I hope you've set a benchmark for those in the future. In times like this, when we are all struggling financially but still want to see and support those who give us musical pleasure, it was such an exciting, pleasurable and CARING show for your audience. You cared enough to give us more than just standing in front of a mike, for the price of our tickets. The show and backing band and dancers all put 100% in and you all should be acknowledged for the great entertainment you gave. It was exciting and we didn't know what was coming next in terms of dance, costumes (wardrobe changes absolutely excellent! I'd swear right now if I was talking in person! lol..) and participation. And Charlie, your energy!! You are only to be loved and admired until the next time you come to see us! Thanks for such a great show! I've seen 2 other US artists in London gigs since seeing you (can't call them shows) and felt disappointed even though they were high on my list because "the show" wasw missing! You raised the bar Charlie!

A fantastic show well worth seeing.Uncle Charlie rolled back the years as well as performing some of his contemporary songs.The venue was just the right size with great acoustics.

Favourite moment: when he used the neon lights on the suits they was wearing and the girls was just hot dancers all night, ENERGY was high grade.... @

Setlist: you just have to know charlie wilson albums eg .last name wilson @

Opening act(s): reallly got your attention with the english role call trumpets...good stuff @

Last minute decision, was the best choice i made, went too see other artists perform @ 02, but Nothing like charlie, this man and his group lift the roof all night, the music was proper, the choregraph was on point and his energy was outstanding, this is the old school king now james and michael has passed, Charlie Wilson performance was the best concert that i have seen in years, pity just the one night,because i would of gone again.His character on stage woo the croud and kept us well entertained. He needs to come back and finished what he started.Fantastic event.
there even was after party with a good selection of djs,for a unplanned night this event left a strong impact on me, my hat off to Charlie and crew...

What an outstanding performance. We rise to the top with the help of Kenny Burke. We were knocked out by Charlie Wilson. You all made it worth our while you made us know what it means too be in love. I was not disappointed going for this show.

Uncle Charlie (at over 60YRS old) is an enigma.

The set pieces were perfect and on cue. He brought back the memories of the Good 'Ole Days.

The dancers added a bit of feminine touch to the GAP Band, an all male cast.

The musicians, all young seemed as if they were enjoying the moment more than we the audience. A fantastic outing.

Will recommend 100%.

Forget his age the voice was fantastic and his dancing and bouncing puts people less than half his age to shame. There was no lip syncing at this show just a fantastic voice and stage show with some great dancing from Charlie and from his group of violinists and dancers. The musicians were all great and the whole show was just so full of energy which was contagious. If you get the chance to go take it!

Charlie Wilson was FANTASTIC!!! It was a great evening, I loved his show!!! The best show for me this year re the concerts i have attended in the ultimate Boggie nite series. And the Ultimate Boggie nite afterparties is the icing on the cake lolx

Charlie Wilson's concert was one big party!The best concert I have ever been to in my life, it was truly entertaining! The man is a legend, he beats anyone I have seen hands down! I will never forget it! I was moved by his performance and his energy ! If you were not there you missed the show of a life time my other half feels the same way! I loved it ,loved it!!!!!! Love u Uncle Charlie! You really moved me!!!!
