Last night the website published that extra tickets for the London Prepares world cup cycling event would be on sale from 10.00am on 8 February - this morning, the notice has been removed and no tickets are on sale. This is disappointing - I will keep checking but please do not advertise something that does not happen - or at least put a notice up to explain!

Got a ticket straight away through ticketmaster no bother at all, seated behind the dutch team in the stands opposite the finish line which was great.

Ticket purchasing difficult but not impossible. Managed to pick up tickets for the Saturday night so am very happy.
Think people need to realise for popular events they will sell out quickly as demand is so high.
Not sure everyone moans when Take That tickets sell out in a matter of hours? It is just more noticaeble as the venue is much smaller, with only 5 sessions to go after.

Why bother advertising this event so heavily and wasting money when there were no tickets available for the ordinary fan.
A complete waste of time for thousands of people trying to buy tickets online at release time

No doubt BP, BBC Radio and other multi millium pound conglomorates will be offering tickets for this event as prizes just like with the Olympics so as to increase their profits even more so the true fans don't get a look in. i don't blame the companies it's the organisers who are at fault for not preventing it.
